Hello, everyone! My name is Alyssa Halaseh 👋🏽 I’m not going to lie- I’m not good with introductions, but here are the basics:
I am a Christian. Funny story here- until I was 6 years old I thought I had to accept Jesus into my life every time the pastor asked 😅 I didn’t know it was a one-time kind of thing haha.
I am a Colorado Springs native.
I was born in 1998- and YES, I do feel cool saying I was born in the 1900s.
I am half black & half white (not Hispanic or middle eastern like 99% of people guess).
I have been married to my smokin’ husband, Peter, since 2016!
My son, Henry, was born in May 2021 and you guys will hear a lot about him. He is without a doubt, THE CUTEST BABY IN THE WORLD!
My life growing up was pretty simple. It was just me, my parents, my half-sister, and my dog Deoji.
Speaking of siblings- as mentioned, I do have a half-sister but we don’t talk. However, I am very close with my brother-in-law and his wife (who I call my SIL), and I consider them my siblings/BFFs. I am a “Titi” to their kiddos and that is one of my greatest roles in life.
In my free time, I like to hang out with family, eat chocolate chip cookies, and watch home renovation shows.
To sum it all up, I’m a brown girl from Colorado who is excited to share her montessori-ish knowledge with whoever wants to hear it! I’ll mostly be sharing sensory activities, shelf rotations, and BLW recipes- but I also plan on documenting day-to-day life with my son, Henry!
